WHAT IS CYBER SECURITY? 
Cyber security as a reassurance of a computerised system components both software and hardware, also data from unauthorised approach. 

WHAT IS CYBER SECURITY ALL ABOUT? 
Cyber security is tied in with comprehension and actualizing precise measures to ensure the physical and software parts of a computerised system from illegal access to keep data privacy. The attacks are ordinarily by hackers for noxious aims like information spilling so cyber security halt such only if right procedure are considered.

TYPES OF CYBER SECURITY 

Network Security 
It is the act of anchoring a computerised system from interlopers regardless of whether focused assailants of crafty malware. Firewalls are part of Network Security where incoming and approaching connections are being controlled to shield the system from possibly vindictive activities. A real-life example of End-user Education was a campaign held at Matshekge Senior School in 2015 teaching students about cyber security. 

CYBERSECURITY FRAMEWORK CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET 

National Institutes of Standards and Technology(NIST) Cyber Security Framework Version 1.1 
This framework is made up of procedures, obligations and policies working towards a goal of having executive control of cybersecurity related-risks. The NIST cyber security framework was issued on April 2018 and its 5 main functions are explained below; 

  • Identity 
The organisation must develop a good understanding of having control over cybersecurity exposure to anything targeted including data, people etc 

  • Protect 
This involves coming up with proper circumstances to have in control a possible cyber security harm. 

  • Detect 
This involves coming up with proper circumstances to indicate or recognise cybersecurity incident. 

  • Respond 
This involves coming up with proper circumstances to act towards an indicate cybersecurity incident. 

  • Recover 
This involves coming up with proper circumstances and measures to recover lost or affected services during a cybersecurity occurrence.
